Home time means more than ever

In a story full of fun and danger, meet the Pirate Gang: four boys from the 1960s whose adventures on the Regents Canal are about to take an amazing turn when a magical barge lamp transports them back through time. As 11-year-olds Tony, Kevin, Pat and Abdul explore the busy wharves in 1906 they make new friends, including young Albert, the orphaned leader of the Canal Rats, and Elizabeth, a beautiful girl who lives on a barge. But when they return to the present, they read a memorial plaque that tells how Elizabeth and her grandfather died on the canal. They realize they have just four days to travel back and avert the disaster. Could it have been the work of the evil barge baron Hensure and his revolting henchman Crabtree? How can they stop it happening? And if they change the past what happens to the present?
